Reserved parking spots for Phase 1 are located along the fence on the Pit Side
beginning across from the burnout and extending down track. These spots are a
generous 30’ in width and marked at an angle to accommodate longer rigs; spots
#4 thru #20 are approximately 75’ long. All 20 spots in Phase 1 are available
now and have a 20 amp GFI outlet on a dedicated 20 amp breaker. Spots in Phase 2
& 3 will be available as soon as the ground work is finished. Phase 2 will be
located behind the bathrooms along the asphalt branch that enters the field.
Phase 3 will be located on the island area between the return road and pit road
on the Pit Side.
The spot you choose will be yours for the entire season with the following
exemptions; there are no reserved parking spots during the Ultimate 64 Shootout
(leased event) Street Rod Shootouts, Kentucky No-Box Challenge, & Mopar Southern
Classic. Racers that are not occupying their reserved spot during an event may
allow a friend to park in the spot. Though not mandatory it is recommended that
racers not attending an event contact track officials so that the open spot can
be filled. A charge will be collected by management for electric on exempted
days if occupant chooses to have service turned on. Reserved parking spots will
only be powered on during event days unless otherwise agreed upon by MPD
management.
During Test & Tune nights, no matter what event is scheduled for the following
day(s), racers that plan to enter the facility on Friday for the weekend must
either mark off their spot or arrive early enough to park for the weekend,
otherwise the spot may be occupied by a T&T car until the Test & Tune is over
and the lessee can then move into their spot for the weekend.
Reserved spots will be marked with a number and ground marking paint will be
applied as needed. It is up to each lessee to make a “reserved” sign indicating
their spot. Sign should be made of any durable material, clearly legible with
name and/or car number. In Phase 1 those signs should be attached to the crowd
control fence by Sat, April 6. Have fun personalizing your “reserved” sign.
Reserved spots will be maintained by MPD. It is lessees responsibility to move
equipment for mowing. Equipment must be removed prior to exempted events.
Remember the spots adjacent to you are also reserved so keep your equipment
within the bounds of your spot and get along with your neighbors.
Cost for reserved electrical spots in Phase 1 is $300 annual. Phase 2 & 3 will
have the same pricing except for spots with 30 amp service. Racers who hold a
reserved spot will have first chance to renew for the following season.
