THANKS TO ALL THE RACERS THAT MADE THE KEN-MOR POSSIBLE

The weather man missed the forecast on Saturday but with over 200 cars in Top ET and 80 in Modified we doubled everything up and had a terrific race Sunday. We did get the 32 Shootout in Saturday between showers, Lorne Gearhart got on a roll and put his dragster in the Winners Circle and earned $3,000. Saturday Top ET paid $10,000 to win! Finalist were Erica Stormes & Cody McDaniels. Both racers were later on the tree than their previous rounds, Erica was .030, Cody was .057, Cody went 4.862 on his 4.85 dial to runner-up the main event while Erica went 4.627 on her 4.60 dial for a .012 margin of victory and the event win. Modified was hotly contested and after some great racing Bobby Paul Arnett & Chris Butcher found their selves in the Finals. Bobby Paul killed the tree with an .010 R/T to Chris' .056 and Bobby Paul turned in a 6.458 on his 6.43 dial, .028 above to Chris' .030 above for the event win and a $4,000 pay day! After beginning the day with 18 Juniors the last 2 were Lindsey Mitchell and Jacob Allen. In the Finals Jacob went red by .016 and Lindsey was .025 on the tree and 8.659 on a 8.62 dial for the win and $600. The Finals of Quick-8 Doorcars and Fast 4 Dragsters presented matchups of the top 2 qualifiers in both categories. Quick-8 Doorcars featured Glen Woods and Lester Johnson in the heads up finals. Lester had .010 advantage on the tree with a .040 to Glen's .050 R/T and Lester went 4.173 at 173.78 to Glen's 4.210 at 176.33 for the $3,000 win. Fast 4 Dragster was one of the best races we've ever seen in this heads-up category. Phil Esz was .030 to Andy Johnson's .033 reaction time, Phil went 3.897 at 194.06 Andy went 3.988 at 188.36 and Phil took the title on a .004 margin of victory! The 32 Shootout for Sunday paid $5,000 to the Winner and after 4 rounds Josh Baker and his brother in law Brooke Warren landed in the finals which were contested in their motorhomes instead of the track while they ran deep into the Top ET rounds.
Hats off to all that stuck with us through Saturday's adversity to put their name in the legendary Ken-Mor Win colum!
